Low Carb Loaded BLAT

This Loaded Low-Carb BLAT is packed with flavour, making it a satisfying and nutritious choice!

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of Low Carb Goodness Hemp & Linseed Bread
  • 4-6 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 4 leaves of romaine or iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 small red onion
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy.
  2. Slice the tomato, avocado, and onion. Wash and dry the lettuce leaves.
  3. If you prefer a toasted texture, lightly toast Low Carb Goodness Hemp & Linseed Bread
  4. Assemble the BLT:
    • Place one slice of the hemp & linseed bread on a plate.
    • Spread a tablespoon of mayonnaise evenly over the slice.
    • Layer the lettuce leaves on top of the mayo.
    • Add the crispy bacon slices over the lettuce.
    • Next, layer the tomato slices, followed by the avocado slices.
    • Add the thinly sliced onion on top of the avocados.
    • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Cut the sandwich in half and serve immediately for an enjoyable low-carb meal.
