Turkish Eggs

Upgrade your brunch game with these Turkish Eggs. This simple yet flavorful recipe is the perfect way to spend your sunday morning!

Yoghurt Ingredients
1 cup greek or natural yoghurt
1 large clove of garlic, peeled and minced
Sea salt & freshly cracked black pepper
Pinch of chilli pepper or chilli flakes
3 tablespoons finely diced dill
Optional – if you don’t want to follow tradition: 1 tablespoon honey if you like a sweet twistΒ 

To Serve
4 pieces of Gluten Freedom Pure Foodie Organic Six Seed, lightly toasted and sliced how you wish
4 poached eggs
Your favourite butter or spread for the toast
Chilli oil
Fresh dill or mint leaves

Method

  1. Combine all of the yoghurt ingredients in a medium sized bowl and set aside.
  2. Toast your toast to your liking.
  3. Pour the yoghurt into 2 serving bowls.
  4. Poach your eggs until they are cooked to your liking and transfer them carefully to the yoghurt bowls.
  5. Garnish with sea salt, cracked pepper and fresh dill. Drizzle generously with chilli oil if you wish.
  6. Serve with freshly toasted Organic Six Seed
