Rosemary Potato, Zucchini, Mozzarella & White Sauce Pizza

Makes 2 pizzas

This pizza features a creamy white sauce that’s perfect for any occasion! Enjoy this for a family meal or a cozy night in! πŸ•

White Sauce Ingredients:
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 large cloves garlic, peeled and minced
Pinch of sea salt & cracked black pepper
3 tablespoons gluten free flour
1 1/2 cups milk of your choice

Pizza Ingredients:
2 Gluten Freedom Fancier Sourdough Pizza Bases
3 large potatoes, thinly sliced into discs
1 zucchini, thinly sliced into discs
3-4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves or dried rosemary
Fresh basil leaves
Freshly cracked black pepper

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven as per the pizza packet instructions.
  2. Whilst the oven is heating, prepare your white sauce. Heat a small saucepan over a medium heat on the stovetop. Add the oil and garlic and saute until the garlic is fragrant. Add the flour to the garlic and stir until combined and coated. Slowly add the milk, whisking as you pour. Reduce the temperature to a low simmer and simmer for around 5 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow it to cool and thicken further.
  4. To make your pizzas, cover the base with the white sauce, top with the remaining ingredients in whichever order you like.
  5. Cook the pizzas as per the packet instructions.
